Our Club is as part of a 8 club, 110 team competition which consists the Essendon District Netball Association (EDNA).  We have two seasons, Autumn-Winter, playing February to June and then Spring Competition, playing July to November.  All our games are played on a Saturday afternoon at Riverside Golf & Tennis Centre, in Newsom Street Ascot Vale.  Training is also at Riverside on a Friday afternoon from 4.30pm.

St Johns Netball club also participates in the Essendon Thunder representative teams (13U, 15U, 17U and Open). This is a pathway development netball program that provides a great opportunity for players to develop their netball ability by playing against high grade netball teams from across Melbourne.

We also have opportunity for Senior Teams (U17 and Open)  to move across to Parkville for mid-week play.

Our club welcomes everyone, drawing children from the north west suburbs of Melbourne including Essendon, Moonee Ponds, Ascot Vale, Travancore, Brunswick, Coburg, Royal Park, Pascoe Vale, Strathmore, Glenroy, Oak Park, Aberfeldie and Maribyrnong.
