Joan Beverley Bell was an Essendon resident and keen netballer. She held the roles of captain, coach and committee member during her 15 years with St Johns Netball club.
Joan worked hard behind the scenes in many fundraising activities for various sporting and community clubs in the area. Joan also had a good sense of humour and a friendly disposition and was well liked by all who knew her. It was noted that Joan never stood alone on the sidelines, as she was quick witted and always ready with a story but not at others expense. Joan passed away at 47 years of age, still in her prime. |
Rohan McIntosh was respected and appreciated for his community spirit and contribution. Being actively involved in the school as a Councillor and in various sporting clubs.
Rohan’s involvement in the St Johns Netball Club ranged from auditor, committee member, association treasurer and coach. Rohan's passion for coaching was in full display at training and during the game. Those attributes included:
